One of the best parts of the creative process is pulling inspiration from unlikely sources. I thought it would be a good idea to showcase some graphic design samples that display an immense amount of design ability, colour knowledge and artistic talent, but is from a different world than standard “graphic design”.
Alright it is now time for the final instalment of this 3 post series on Rolling Stone Magazine Covers. Just as a quick recap part 1 was a collection of the covers that best represented the change of the Rolling Stone brand on the covers of the magazine.

So mentioned in yesterday’s post I have put together a 3 post series of Rolling Stone Magazine Covers. Here lies the first post, which displays the vast evolution of the brand, and how it has been used and displayed.
Rolling Stone Magazine has been in production for over 40 years. The magazine started as an outlet for controversial political coverage in the 1970’s but has transformed into a highly recognizable brand, full of pop culture icons, while still incorporating in-depth political content.
T-shirts are a great canvas for designers to showcase their amazing talents. More and more beautiful t-shirts are being created everyday. With the popularity of Threadless, Design by humans… designers are being challenged all the time to create state of the art designs.
“Extreme Sports” and innovative design have always gone hand in hand, the sport [and lifestyle] of snowboarding is no exception. Many involved in the sport are immersed the culture element that goes along with it, and the design industry is a key component in building this exciting culture.

Quite a while back, I posted 99 Best Designed album covers, some of you thought that the post was some what misleading. I look back now and I do understand that some of the album covers might not belong under that title, but some I really like.
