Designing for…Beer!

There are some jobs that as designers we all dream about. I’m willing to bet good money that loads of you, just like me, love the idea of designing labelling, signage and packaging for the beer industry.

This isn’t just about freebies though, lagers, beers and pale ales are always playfully named, and the companies behind them are always pushing for originality, novelty and uniqueness. With so much of our collective design energy these days going into digital products, it’s always really special to create print-based work that we can touch and feel – better still, if you’re one of the lucky few who gets to design beer labelling, you get to actually drink (responsibly, of course) from a vestibule created entirely by your imagination!

Below are a select few of the finest beer related designs I could find – from dark wintery stouts to light summery pale ales, all of these should wet your design appetites.
