A Selection of Beautiful Designer Portfolios
Great designers often have to work with constraints when they’re doing client work. Even if they’re given a lot of creative freedom, the work needs to be on-brand, and while they’re able to add their own personal touch to it, it needs to be unmistakably more about the company than the designer.
But that’s why it’s so interesting to at the portfolio of the designer. Not necessarily the work they’ve done – but the way they’ve chosen to present it. All of a sudden, they are their own client, and you can get a real sense of their true style from their own site, and the way they’ve designed their portfolio. There are a huge, diverse range of styles for portfolio designs – from creative, outlandish and in-your-face aesthetics to much more minimal, sophisticated and simple designs, and each one can help get the creative juices flowing.
To help give you some inspiration, we’ve brought together a collection of beautifully designed, creative and stunning designer portfolios. If you know of any designer portfolios that deserve to be included in our roundup, let us know in the comments.
