33 Fantastic Apple Software Websites
Just recently I had purchased a new iMac, after having an old MacBook Pro for the past 3 years. As we all know, it’s such an exciting time to get a new computer, especially with a new operating system.
I have been sitting on tiger for quite some time, and have missed out on the recent surge of leopard apps. So as soon as I had my new iMac all set up, I scoured the web to find some cool new apps. This post is not here to promote any app, but along the way I decided to grab some screens of the killer site designs I stumbled upon. We all know and love the sexy apple design, most apple sites follow some of the same design styles.
Simple Whites
This is probably the most obvious one, Apple loves white-space and simplicity. It’s their staple, all their products, software, designs follow a simple message. The advantages of this, is the products are showcased front and center. Not only that but there is no confusion on what they are selling.

Icon Spotlight
Apple loves displaying their products front and center, and most third parties do the same. With software, it’s tough to get a reaction from a stale screen-shot. The work-around, create a killer icon, that you can showcase. This is common practice for any Apple inspired website.

Dark Colour Scheme
For the most part – Apple has tended to stay within the lighter colour schemes. For some Apple developers this might be a way to be more unique than just an Apple product. Also, darker colour schemes tend to be targeted towards the developer community and more hardcore users.
