Color is something that human beings respond to on an almost instinctual level. Various colors trigger simple but inadvertent reactions within our subconscious minds.
Red is such a powerful colour, it provides emotion and a great emphasis on detail. With a dark, gray colour scheme – red can be used to emphasize text, navigation menus and more. Some designers decide to create a full blown website with bright red colours.
