Stunning Design Showreels

For as long as I have been designing I have always pulled inspiration from Showreels. For people that aren’t familiar with a Showreel (or Demo Reel), it is basically a motion (occasionally still) designer’s portfolio crammed into a 2 minute video. A great Showreel usually contains a great usage of Adobe After Effects, great typography examples and is set to a catchy, fast paced or an emotionally charged piece of music, depending on the mood the designer is trying to create. It’s this Mood that always inspires me, the perfect pairing of great design, that is then edited well and placed to the perfect song to suit the piece.

wow, there are some truly inspiring ones in there!
Every so often I check out the animal logic (from sydney australia) film reels. They do special effects and so on, but their site and reel always has something nice in it.
Like really, they worked on the matrix and dark city. What more needs to be said!
I like Glasshouse. Soundtrack is awesome too.
