Photoshop Skin Retouching Tutorial

This tutorial will be retouching skin using techniques in Photoshop, for this tutorial I will be using Photoshop CS4. I found a good photo from Stock Exchange as my example.

We will be learning the basics of smoothing and brightening skin. This tutorial is very helpful for beginners of Photo Retouching. Its a great start to using different tools, and eventually with practice you will become an amazing retoucher!

This is great, Michelle! Even though I’m familiar with Photoshop, I found this helpful in refining my technique. It is straight to the point and easy to grasp; I like that you didn’t try to cram the tutorial with a whole bunch of unnecessary (and potentially confusing) information.
I hope you do more of these!

I felt this was very well done and very professional. I usually had troubles with the Cloning tool, but this clarified a few things for me so I thank you for that.

A suggestion though: perhaps in the beginning of the video you should show the before and after images just to give people an idea of how it will look, then it’ll entice them to see how to get from Point A to Point B. Just my thought.
