Keeping with the last post of Album Artwork, I decided to look no further then Concert Posters. Concert posters have been around for years and years, propaganda of the music industry. Young determined designers to respected professional designers have given their all to create these posters. I have been collecting these posters for a few years now, my main source has been Gig Posters. This is a great collection of posters, I have split the post into 2 parts, I will be posting Part 2 later this week.
There are a few different styles, and different artists, both music and design related. Hope you like the collection, it’s a big one.

the majority of these bands really suck. like the rise against designs though

Most of these are bad posters from bad bands ie to much crappy emo. Get some better tastes.

Every single one of these impressed the hell out of me. Not to mention i’m a fan of almost every band on this page.
Awesome post. Alot of these were really really great. I wish my clients would allow that type of creative freedom with advertising. And if you look at the list, you’ll see some of the same bands repeated several times [ex. anti-flag] So thats good, that several of these bands are continuing to go with cool, creative, different designs for their ads.

I prefer the street level amterial rather than the fresh out of art school look of most of the stuff at gig posters.
