Inspiring Work Environments

I am always curious and inspired by other workplaces, whether it’s your home office, design studio, or a corporate building. I find that the environment you work in, lends a hand on how productive and creative you are. I have seen a few posts in my day about this, and I have compiled some offices that I thought were inspiring. I don’t have all the proper links, as this was a collection over the years. I would love to see your workplaces, you can join the Inspiredology Flickr Group and add your pics of your offices. I will collect the offices and post a week from today… with the Inspiredology Readers Environment.

London, though mine being in a derelict building it wasn’t quite as posh looking. It did have similar buildings across the street, however.

This reminds of of my house in Amsterdam, very nice colors, sleek design. If you ever find yourself in Illinois, rent a Chicago limousine service to go around the city, it will be a very pleasant experience.

This reminds me of my flat in London, though mine being in a derelict building it wasn’t quite as posh looking. It did have similar buildings across the street, however.

      Great post.

I have to ask why even link each of the photos to your flickr account when you made the photo album private?

    • April 18, 2009 at 7:20 am

      These are awesome.
Also amazing is how many of these feature an Apple computer of some kind.
Just reinforces that I’m not cool enough for a Mac.

I guess my Home Office Setup was a little “too inspiring” since it “inspired” a computer repair company called Aware Bear Computers (owned by Andre Leite Alves) to steal one of the images, paste himself in the picture, and then pass it off as his own in the commercial brochure for his company.

You can read all the details On This Page.

the most lovely workareas i ve set my eyes on………..

    • September 9, 2008 at 2:23 am

In looking at these images I think about 20 percent of office spaces are inspired and 80 percent are bland cube space.

My refuge is in as many pictures of my son as I can find room for.

    • August 14, 2008 at 8:04 pm

What a great post. We run an office redesign business and some of these images are such a great inspiration. It is great to know that there are people out there who value beauty and function well enough to live it and work it each day…

    • August 12, 2008 at 1:55 am

these work areas are divine! totally far from what I have (and my seatmates for that matter) right now which is just… mess! Although the 7 monitor-desk i think, is insane… is he a video editor?

    • August 6, 2008 at 4:11 pm

      good. good themes.

    • August 5, 2008 at 2:39 pm

Wow! I would love to work in ANY of those environments.

I am ashamed of my workspace…maybe I should spiff it up a bit.

    • August 4, 2008 at 9:28 pm

Awesome post; it’s fascinating to see the variety of work environments. It would be great to see portraits of the people with the environment to see how they relate to each other.

I wonder if the red desk with the tree coming through it is actually kept that clean?
