It’s a good tut and cool effect and all, BUT this tutorial wasn’t “inspired” by Chris Spooner, it was straight stolen step by step. You even used the same font (or at least a very similar one) and your finished version uses the exact same grunge pattern Chris uses in his tut. :S I’m sure you’re a good designer, but there’s no sense in making a tutorial that’s already been made.

I really don’t appreciate the comment you made. It is very inappropriate and rude. I referenced the user for this tutorial, I decided to make a video version. Also, I do believe this is good learning material for people to learn. If I create a tutorial and reference it to the person than this is legal.

Well, I apologize. I didn’t mean to be rude. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good tutorial, I just think it’s a little redundant to make another version of one that already exists.. It would make more sense to say this was a video tutorial version of Chris Spooner’s that’s meant to give people a more detailed walkthrough, instead of saying it was just inspired by Chris Spooner.
