There is so much great style in the past, but in this immediate, trend-laden, digital age it’s easy to only look forward. A designer must not ignore the art of yesterday, as the principles and overall feel can often be eloquently reinterpreted or involved with current styles and practices.
Here are 5 t-shirt designs that are specifically designed for the designer in mind. They might not be the most detailed and extreme design’s like we see at DBH or Threadless, but the use of text, cleverness and simplicity brings these designs together.
We are all used to going to Myspace to listen to your favorite band, message a friend or two, stalk…..I mean admire your ex-girlfriend. (LOL.) However, a few people have by-passed the the coding restrictions that Myspace has put in place and crafted some AMAZING pages. Here are a few that are very eye catching.

All this week, we are bringing you all 5 winners from the recent High Five Contest. Starting with number 1 today, and ending with number 5 on Friday. As some of you know we received a great deal of entries, and it was a hard fought battle, but these 5 entries stood out the most.
There are many websites that are taking a very animated approach to their brand strategy. Some of these sites target younger users, so a cartoon animated style would be expected; however businesses are also using this approach to perhaps soften their corporate image to appear friendlier and more playful to their audience.
Some of you have noticed that we just recently started using twitter, it’s a great tool. After 2 weeks or so of using twitter, I have found some really cool twitter pages. With another tool on the web comes another place designers can take advantage of by adding their design skills.
Horizontal websites are a great new way to create unique web experiences. Instead of the usual vertical scrolling with the majority of websites, designers have been looking at new ways for the user to view content. Mostly horizontal websites have been apparent in designer portfolios.
3D on the web is used to give the user a new more unique experience. Instead of the normal blog design or static website, 3D is most often used in promotional products or companies. It should also be stated that most 3D websites are created for high end corporate companies looking to create an experience similar to their product.
