We are always trying to cross a lot of different types of inspirations on Inspiredology. We tend to post more on web design, probably because I am a web designer first and for most.
We’ve all been inspired by photography in many forms, styles and conceptual ideas. It’s when photography is at its most simplistic with a single focus, is at it’s best in my opinion.
Last week we posted 11 Textures from Chicago, I had the awesome opportunity to head to another great place New York City. This was my second time around, but I was invited by ThinkStock a great new website, that you will be hearing much more about in the upcoming future.
I have had a fascination about panoramic photos since my first HP digital camera back in the day.. it had what was cool and state of the art back then… a on screen stitching tool…. I thought it was the coolest thing ever.
Here at Inspiredology, we have mentioned the amazing design inspiration that can be derived from Nature. Some of Nature’s brightest colours and fascinating textures and creatures are found deep underwater.
This post is a huge showcase of some fantastic examples of photography. There is no specific theme, not just black and white photos, portrait, scenic… the only requirement for this showcase is that they are simply stunning. This post showcases many different elements in photography, so sit down and take it all in, be inspired.
You might notice a bias towards urban landscapes in this list of incredible images taken at night, but I assure you this is for good reason: light in cities, provided by signs, buildings, street lighting and traffic, makes for truly exquisite nighttime photography.

Another post to add to our growing Photography category, Abstract photography is an over populated trend, but we still love it. I think the reason why is because, abstract is so unique, it’s hard to find a handful of images that are very similar.
Tilt-shift photography involves using both tilt and shift camera movements to simulate the depth of field of a macro lens, making life-size objects appear as though they’re actually miniature in scale. The effect can be incredibly powerful, instantly turning a sprawling metropolis into a miniature village or toy town.
