  Very nice, but the problem comes with everyone using different screen sizes and resolutions. Any elegant solutions for that?

  These are great! I remember way back when I first started design websites (1999 or so). I loved the idea of using large photos. It was so frustrating not to be able to use them. So glad we have more options now.

  It is so strange I should come across this post today, we are currently working on a site that uses a 5500 x 2600 pixel image as a background and my partner was complaining that it was 7.4mb. He wants to crop it but it is just too nice to deface in that way.
