  • Another post to add to our growing Photography category, Abstract photography is an over populated trend, but we still love it. I think the reason why is because, abstract is so unique, it’s hard to find a handful of images that are very similar. I mean, a lot of the images use the same techniques and elements, but abstract has so much impact. Abstract photography can knock you on your ass before you have time to press CTRL+Z.

The abstract photos of roads, are my favourite from this post, they capture the motion and fast pace of traffic.

I love the abstract shutter speed photos of the cars on the highway, although it is becoming a bit cliche.

Stunning collection, especially ’967101253896407′. I’d love to get my hands on that technique.

think some of these are pretty average and shouldn’t even be on a list of STUNNING photography

the third and fourth photos are intriguing and vaguely remind me of fly fishing. very cool effects on all of these.

Beautiful work, which shows just how closely Photoshop has melded the worlds of fine art photography and illustration in the minds of many.

The example from the ‘Infinite Knots’ series is just stunning, but the artist explains that this series are “Actionscript 3 generated compositions”, so hardly photography in the generally accepted version of the word. Beuatiful, tho’.

Sorry Dave, Speaking as one who still uses film to make abstract photographs, I feel that without the absolute control of a human mind, an abstract photograph might as well be fully computer generated. I understand that the control of computer programs could be described as creative, but feel it says more for the program designers than the ‘artist’.

Maybe I’m too old for this game now ;-)

Nice photos. I was thinking of having them in my blog but it’s out of my niche. Anyway, one of my tumblr friends photo blogged one of your pics. It’s nice.
