I love changing my desktop wallpaper, I have it set to change every 15 minutes, looking at a dull background can really kill the creative juices.

I found this website a few months ago and I was stunned to see what they were doing. GOOD Magazine has a “Tuesday Transparency” where they compile data from anything whether it’s pop culture, political or even world issues.

With internet speeds being faster then ever, more and more websites are pushing the limits with HD videos, animations and huge beautiful images. These websites showcase websites that use large photos to portray their message. The web content, and functions lay over top, and in some cases the photo brings a really great sense of contrast.
Stunning Design Showreels
For as long as I have been designing I have always pulled inspiration from Showreels. For people that aren’t familiar with a Showreel (or Demo Reel), it is basically a motion (occasionally still) designer’s portfolio crammed into a 2 minute video.
