Green has become the colour of freshness. When I see green, I just can’t help but to feel clean and refreshed. I know when most people see green they think; Environment, Recycle, Tree Huggers… your right green is used a lot when it comes to things like that.. but the colour can also bring a fresh palette of design to any company or studio website.
Well folks, we surpassed the 100 members mark, and like I said before I would showcase the groups findings thus far. I think I am going to keep with the routine of every 100 new members we will showcase the group. So I believe while writing this we are at 119, so 81 more and we will be on showcase #2.
This is just a small update… the Inspiredology Flickr Group is making some progress, and is finally building… There are some really good inspirational designs, photographs, websites already added to the group.
Designers are always faced with trying to come up with an innovative website without design the same old grid based site. Designers have tried to take their work environment and bring it to the web by integrating navigation, and other web elements to create websites that make you feel you are navigating around your office.
The web has many different styles these days, and one always sticking around being somewhat popular is retro design. It’s not a huge booming style like Web 2.0 or Grunge.. but retro is specific. If you visit any of these sites, you immediately feel like you are in a Retro environment.
It’s been a long time since I touched on this subject, but if you ask me it’s long overdue. Cool Business Cards is still my biggest post to date… it was the real debut for Inspiredology. I had a few days of 12000+ visitors because of this site, being stumbled, dugg, and etc… So thank you for that… and now I present you with the second edition… its been about 6 months since then so there are many new business cards that have been surfaced.
I have been very interested in typography, I have also noticed the growth of typography moving to the web. More specific, designers are paying more attention to typography when design for the web.
This month, I am participating in Blogging Idol at Daily Blog Tips.. it’s a great idea for a contest and I am glad I am participating.
