Getting into the world of web design and inspiration, you can categorize websites into thousands of different trends, platforms, site elements and the list can go on. Dark websites have always been a popular choice as black is the obvious choice to rebel against all those white websites that crowded the web in the early years.
DeviantArt is an amazing community that provides very nice artwork for designers and artists around the world. The community is one of the internet’s biggest, and I decided to dab into the community with a few artists on showcase here. I looked through hundreds of deviants, and I compiled a few that caught my eye. Maybe in the future, we will showcase a deviant of the month feature. Enjoy!!
With the whole Web 2.0 phase populating the web. It seems that another phase of the Web 2.0 family (Web Characters) are supporting websites, logos and brands. I have collected some cool vector characters that fit the web 2.0 look, vector based, gradients, fun loving characters that are always unique, and as they should be.
I am a huge sports fan, I play as many sports as I can get my hands on, and I watch sports more then I should. I have always been intrigued with Extreme sports, X-Games, Snowboarding,
I have always been interested in Typography. When I see a good example of Typography, I just wonder why my designs don’t showcase that amazing element. Whether it’s spacing, font choice, position, kerning, I just can’t seem to get that look.
